Descripción: We are looking for the best Senior IT operations Engineer! Our future colleague can be based anywhere in Spain or in any country with a similar time zone.
Your key tasks will be:
• You will be part of our Agile TV Product team to bring recognized products and services to market, building the best TV experience.
• Design and implement DevSecOps best practices and culture in a new team, as well as investigate new technologies and deploy them in support of the team.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate code building, testing, security and deployment.
• Manage blue-green and/or canary deployment strategies.
• Improve monitoring of infrastructure and applications.
• Assist in the delivery and evolution of high performance, reliable, secure and scalable applications.
You must have:
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years Linux / Unix experience.
• Experience managing AWS resources.
• Experience writing CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab or TravisCI.
• Experience working with Docker and Vagrant.
• Experience with Git or Subversion.
• Implemented network, server, and application-status monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of security best practices.
• Experience in agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, …)
• B2 English level or equivalent.
It would be great if you:
• Are familiar with:
Java and Javascript programming languages, as well as related infrastructure technologies like JVM and NodeJS
Blue-green or canary deployment strategies.
PAAS solutions (CloudFoundry, OpenShift, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, …)
Other cloud providers like GCP or Azure.
Container orchestration using tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Have Experience:
With database administration.
Use of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Use of Server provisioning software such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Have a Certificate of Higher Education in Computer Science or Bachelor in Computer Science.
