Descripción: Kiteris is a young, agile company dedicated to providing IT project management services based on the delivery of excellence, the quality of our team and the contribution of value through specialization and innovation. We are located in Spain and Portugal but serve different customers in Europe, USA, and South America.
For the past 4 years we have been working as Program and Project Portfolio Executive Managers (PPMO, Executive PgMO/PMO) for an international customer in the industrial sector. The customer headquarter is based in the Barcelona area (Spain) with offices and subsidiaries in more than 80 countries worldwide. 75% of the projects we are managing are IT and ERP focused, but we also manage HR and Business Process optimization projects.
Our customer is currently undergoing a joint venture with an American company (with headquarters based in California). The overall size of the customer is about 1.500 Million Euro invoicing per year. We are extending our PPMO services into the USA to offer our customer ongoing support. Currently we already have staff in San Diego (California). The main objective of the current PPMO is to unify the different business processes and TIC landscapes that exist in each country for both former Companies being joined: USA, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, …
We are therefore looking for an additional experienced Project Manager based in the greater New Jersey area. This PM would lead the unification of the USA Companies including Business Processes and TIC environments.
Requirements:
Key responsibilities
– Overall project responsibility, in close collaboration and coordination with the business analysts. Estimated size of project: 9 to 10 months with a team of 10 to 15 people.
– Assuring a double reporting line: one to the PMO Americas Director and the other to the business unit General Manager, and strong interaction with the different business directors, users, and process owners.
– Management of project including planning, monitoring and reporting.
– Additional supervision, support and coaching of customer employees on best practices of integration of ERP packages – in terms of both structure and content.
Key skills and experience
– English mother tongue. Fluency in Spanish is highly appreciated.
– Software Engineer or similar profile. MBA appreciated.
– Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT, ERP and software integration projects.
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading projects with a scope exceeding 10,000 hours per year.
– Certified in PMI(PMP) (mandatory). SCRUM and ITIL experience and certification also appreciated.
– Knowledge of CMMi3 or higher.
– Experience working in teams and ability to empathize with both management and customer.
– Excellent leadership skills.
– Ability to influence people to achieve common goals.
– Extensive knowledge of MS-Project. Knowledge in Power BI is also appreciated.
Position based in New Jersey with infrequent travel within the USA.
American nationality or a green card is mandatory.
