We are expanding our Tech team with Senior Back-end Developers based in our office in Barcelona!
Fast Track is growing its development team in Barcelona at a rapid pace! We are currently looking for high-performance individuals who enjoy working with back-end development. We are using Golang as our main back-end language with great success.
Fast Track is a tech company with a focus on scalability issues in the iGaming industry. We provide new innovative solutions to help operators become more scalable through the right process, automation, and machine learning. As a Senior Back-end Developer at Fast Track, you will:
– Lead the development of highly performant, scalable microservices to handle high traffic volumes, ensuring peak performance and reliability.
– Work with high-traffic solutions where performance is very important
– Oversee and Execute the creation of comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and load testing, to ensure software reliability and performance under stress.
– Design and build advanced backend APIs to enhance our solution´s capabilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of scalability and performance.
– Keep documentation of relevant systems up to date
– Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and technical excellence.
– Stay at the forefront of technology by researching, advocating, and implementing best practices in coding standards and software design.
– Encourage the team´s continuous growth and expertise in cutting-edge technologies.
– Be accountable for and lead the end-to-end delivery of projects
Job requirements
– A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record of successful projects
– Strong experience in Golang is highly desirable, along with proficiency in other programming languages used in our stack.
– Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, sharing knowledge and fostering a positive learning environment.
– A commitment to quality and a deep understanding of user needs, aiming to deliver exceptional solutions that users love.
– A passionate learner who actively seeks out the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies. Willingness to lead internal workshops and training sessions.
– Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of driving projects forward, making strategic decisions, and inspiring team members towards achieving common goals.
– Ability to independently navigate complex challenges and contribute strategically to the company´s long-term goals.
– Advanced degrees or certifications in computer science or related fields, along with a portfolio of personal or open-source projects, are a plus.
– Strong communication skills in English, and can convey complex ideas in simple terms

Development at Fast Track
At Fast Track, we provide a dynamic environment for high-performance individuals who are ready to elevate their skills. Our tech stack is cutting-edge and constantly evolving. We utilise continuous integration and deployment with GitHub Actions, incorporating relevant workflows and approval processes. Our code runs on Docker with Kubernetes orchestration, and all our infrastructure is managed with Terraform, embracing infrastructure as code principles. We leverage Kafka and RabbitMQ for our queue systems and ClickHouse for data storage, complemented by advanced monitoring through Grafana. Our microservice architecture is designed for optimal performance and scalability.
