We are looking for a Salesforce Platform Lead and Technical Architect.
Their Salesforce.com Centre of Excellence supports many applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Communities, enabling a variety of different business processes from call centres to patient portals.
This role is to enable the growth and development of Salesforce.com through platform governance and technical direction, along with involvement in platform projects, offering solution architecture definition. Ultimately enabling the business to gain the most benefit from the SFDC platform, and those new and existing apps are developed and maintained in the best possible way.
As a leading technical person in the SFDC CoE, you will be a trusted digital advisor for technical colleagues, business functions, and management alike. Your strong communication skills will help everyone understand what is possible with SFDC, and your deep technical knowledge will make you a highly valued collaboration partner for the team.
Your main duties will be:
– Lead the technical direction of the SFDC including platform, org plan, and associated tools.
– Responsible for Salesforce platform governance to keep the application landscape without technical debt, including definition of control of R2P, access, licenses, profiles, permissions, org control, and similar.
– Platform lead, ensuring that the SFDC platform operates and that all standards, documentation, processes are maintained.
– Seek automation opportunities, reduce technical debt, and support an inclusive DevOps model for the SFDC CoE.
– Collaborate with external partners (Salesforce, Veeva, etc.) and internal stakeholders to form trusted partnerships to build consistent growth of the platform in Boehringer Ingelheim.
– Be a point of reference for technical skills within the SFDC CoE, supporting them with your technical experience and knowledge.
– Engage with solution architecture of new apps, including the collaboration with enterprise and functional architecture teams.
– Develop the platform with supporting tools such as automation, improved processes, etc
The person that we look for:
– Bachelor´s or master´s degree in computer science or a comparable professional experience and Background of development, project management, agile.
– Over 5 years of experience with SFDC development and working with SFDC architecture, landscape, and data models strategies.
– Up to date SFDC certifications (admin, developer, architect).
– Highly skilled in development and application of SFDC technologies, (e.g. Lightning Web Components, Process Builder, Heroku, etc.)
– Coding and object-oriented development, in Apex, Javascript, and other relevant languages.
– Skilled in code control and deployments (GIT and branching workflows, SonarQube, Autorabit, Java ANT).
– Knowledge of systems architecture, systems lifecycle, application design.
– Knowledge of web apps, databases, interfaces/ETL, cloud architectures, etc. including complex data integrations with other systems (e.g. SAP), and cloud technologies.
– Project management skills including business analysis and problem solving.
– Agile/DevOps methodology certifications and experience highly valued.
– ITIL (v3 or v4) is an advantage.
– Experience with regulated environments and pharma processes is an advantage.
– Familiarity with working in Salesforce.com platforms alongside Veeva CRM is an advantage.
– Experience working in an international and intercultural environment and availability to travel.
– Excellent spoken and written English.
– Excellent analytical thinking, customer orientation, teamwork and communication.
