We are looking for a Release and QA Manager to join the Leadership team in the Engineering department. You will play a vital role in delivering innovation fast to our customers through a robust release and quality assurance process. In your role, you will work closely with team members from our development centers in Denmark, Poland, and Spain.
We are looking for a Release and QA Manager to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our software releases are delivered on time, with high quality, and with minimal risk to the business. You will work closely with engineering teams, QA experts, and other stakeholders to communicate the scope, fulfillment of release criteria, identified risks, and progress. You will also remove impediments and improve quality and release standards.
Get challenged in your role as Release and QA Manager:
-Communicate the scope and fulfillment of release criteria, identify risks and progress to stakeholders, and work actively on removing impediments and improving quality and release standards with the engineering teams and QA Experts.
-Ensure that Support and customer-facing teams have advanced knowledge of details of the features/fixes contained within each release.
-Notify all stakeholders of changes/delays for a release in a timely fashion.
-Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks to the release cycle.
-Escalate release-level impediments to help ensure delivery.
-Maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders, including architects, Scrum teams, Documentation, Cloud Operations, Customer Success, and Product Management.
-Identify KPIs and provide tracking and reporting on release readiness and strategic development projects spanning multiple releases.
-Conduct post-mortems and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve team reliability and transparency.
-Drive improvements toward pipeline-driven organization and automate all steps in the release and QA process.
You have:
-5+ years of industry experience as a Release Manager within a cloud software environment, with a successful record of delivering complex systems or services,
-Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
-Experience with Azure DevOps for builds, deployments, and test management is a plus.
-Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
-Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
-Experience working in distributed teams.

-Love to play an active role in delivering value to customers and support the Engineering Teams in the last steps to get innovations into the hands of the customers.
-Are detail-oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices and identify what truly matters, problem-solving skills are a must,
-Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of business and technical leadership,
-A comprehensive understanding of software processes (from specifications to testing and deployment) is critical in this role.
-Previous knowledge of the Cyber Security domain is a plus.
-You should be open to new challenges, extremely good at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed, and a great team player.
