Due to growth, we are hiring a new QA Engineer in Salamanca!, is this you?
About the role
We are looking for a QA Engineer ready to sink their teeth into a new challenge.
You will be a passionate tester who can talk about their craft, instil the values of smart testing when it comes to building working software to solve customer problems, in a collaborative and engaging manner. Working closely with our Dev teams you will engineer testing scenarios that support and validate business processes to deliver solid outcomes to our users.
You will be responsible for:
Manual systems testing (Automated testing experience would also be highly advantageous).
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing discipline and ‘add value’ initiatives.
The work you do will touch millions of our users, and you will be in a team of other talented, hard-working and like-minded people working on cutting edge technologies.
What you’ll need
You will possess 3+ years of experience in a similar role and a passion for solving customer problems through sound testing methods. You’ll happily challenge the status quo when it comes to continuous improvement, and be curious and analytical when working on complex platform testing.
You’ll also have:
A Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Testing related (e.g. ISTQB)
Knowledge of Cloud Based architecture
General knowledge of common web and application architectures
Familiarity with Google´s Material Design and App quality guidelines
Familiar with Apple’s iOS design, themes and principles
Cloud-based industry solutions experience coupled with a company that has a mobile app offering
