Software Developer (6 Month Contract)

: Solium Shareworks GSP SLU
: Solium needs a Full Stack Developer who wants to work on our Global Compliance application, part of the Shareworks family of products. This role is a 6 month maternity leave contract.
The Global Compliance application is a cloud service that provides legal, tax and mobility advice to companies that offer stock as part of their employees? compensation, in multiple countries.
I has 3 interfaces:
* A back-office, used by the legal and tax advisors.
* A front shop used by our client companies.
* Special pages viewed by our client company employees.
You aren´t dogmatic; you´re pragmatic. You know that ´agile´ means adapting to deliver value to customers, not necessarily any of the individual practices surrounding it. You want to move our code, style and performance in the right direction.
You aim to build commercial products that people use – technology is just a means to an end. We are looking for a developer to join us to help us build a fast, reliable, secure, and resilient application on a global scale.

* Agile development methods.

* QA.
* Image manipulation (Gimp, InkScape and the like).
* Linux, Apache, and networking knowledge.
* Knowledge of employee share plans.
And, At a Personal Level:
* Enjoyment of teamwork with a collaborative attitude.
* Good command of English (both written and spoken). We are an international team.
* A hunger for tracking down root causes – no matter how deep the rabbit hole.
* A degree in computer science or similar. This depends on your experience.
