Descripción: Multinational company (finance & bank sector) is looking for a Network Manager EMEA – for their office in Madrid.
As Team leader / Manager of the EMEA Network team, reporting to the Head of Telecom and Data Centre Spain the applicant will be responsible for the production, monitoring and the engineering of the CIB European campus networks.
Team: As part of the CIB IT Infrastructure & Production entity in Spain, the Network team is in charge of supporting the Corporate and Institutional campus sites of CIB throughout EMEA. The team is in constant communication with the central teams (France and UK) for any Architecture, major projects and escalation. The team is also responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the standards to all sites.
Profile: 5 to 7 year experience in large enterprises networks, team management and organisation required.
Functions:You will be responsible for a team of network engineers supporting network activates for EMEA. Some of but not limited to expected activities are as follows- Team management and leadership- Process and management reporting- Troubleshooting assistance and incident management.- Administrative tasks: updating, improving the monitoring and documentation.- Managing teams change process and implementation- Capacity monitoring: ensure network service always meets business demands.- Projects: in order to study and deploy nonstandard queries- Security as a must: all activities will keep security by design.- Obsolescence management
Technical knowledge: Hardware : Cisco ASR and ISR routers, Cisco Catalyst et Nexus switches, Juniper EX series switches, Netscout, Riverbed and Solarflare probes, Adva and Transmode DWDM and carrier Ethernet systems, Ixia/Anue and Arista Packet Brokers.
Protocols: Spanning-tree, IGMP, LACP, 802.1q, 802.1x, OSPF, BGP, PIM, MPLS, carrier Ethernet, QnQ, QoS, NAT/PAT.
Administration : Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, Linux OS
Scripting: Perl, Python, Bash, Awk.
Troubleshooting : Trace analysis with Wireshark
