Multinational company (end client) is looking a Master Data SAP (Madrid)
The Master Data is responsible for review, documentation, and implementation of all system enhancements. This position is also responsible for data quality and integrity across all Master Data systems and platforms across the organization.
Essential Functions:
Identify areas for technical improvement in Global Master Data (and Supply Chain) processes and work with Global Office Head to write detailed requirements for IT development.
Works with IT/Consultants, Retail and Corporate departments to establish processes and procedures related to Data Management, ensure that established policies are followed, identify process weaknesses and suggest and implement improvements as needed to correct deficiencies or streamline processes.
Collect user stories and translate to detailed functional requirements to IT.
Lead Global Master Data projects involving data integrity, cleansing, and system development
Establish data quality metrics and actively coordinate data cleansing projects with in Master Data
Tracks and reports on project status and outputs
Tracks risks and issues and risk mitigation plans, facilitates resolution of issues as it relates to Master Data
Assists with integration testing efforts, deployment planning and cutover planning
Review EDI and cloud-based processes and create roadmaps and strategies in order to complete further supplier integrations
Work with IT development team to improve existing data collection and maintenance processes
Work closely with IT, Supply Chain, GCM, and other internal departments to resolve day-to-day technical issues impacting Global Master Data.
Responsible for ensuring the integrity of all merchandise data management including: Article Master, Vendor Master, Store Assortment Listings, and Pricing.
Lead user acceptance testing for all Global MDD developments, or other developments related to MDD processes.
Conduct internal/external training sessions for all new system enhancements
Create user manuals or training material as required
