Responsibilities
– Identify hardware and software needs of each user’s computers and take measures to meet those needs
– Provide assistance in customizing and adapting existing programs on a computer system to meet the needs of the users.
– Troubleshoot problems with hardware and software on each system and provide appropriate solutions.
– Connect hardware and peripherals such as printers and scanners and configure them to work properly.
– Ensure that computers and networks are secured by installing antivirus and anti malware applications.
– Handle computer security breaches by following standardized procedures.
– Perform regular and preventative physical and virtual maintenance on standalone computers and on the network members.
– Monitor the IT Service Desk queue and keep it aligned with the SLA.
– Assist customers and users with their hardware issues over the telephone, face to face, through emails and tickets.
– Train users to handle information technology equipment by providing precise instructions and orientate new users on existing technology.
– Install/Upgrade antivirus and firewalls on computers and networks to ensure security
– Assist with LAN/WAN expansions, hardware renewal or replacement
– Manage the IT procurement process for local stakeholders and maintain the regional IT assets
Qualifications
– Experience performing enterprise and/or client support
– Experience on ITIL Framework
– Experience on management and Service Desk support
– Basic experience on IT systems, SAP ERP, labeling applications
– Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN, VPN.
– Knowledge on DHCP, DNS and Web services
– Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues, root cause analysis and problem solving based on End User support
– Strong knowledge on the O365 platforms
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge on collaboration suites and Office packages
– Advanced Student on BSc/BA in information technology or equivalent.
– B2 level on English (Speaking, Writing, Reading)
