Descripción: We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator for one of the world´s largest chemical producers. The company is also known for its success in the sports, fashion, and the automotive industry.
You will have global responsibility for the design, configuration, implementation and support of the Active Directory and Server Environments.
The company has 1100 end users across 21 locations in 8 different countries globally, so due to geographical disbursement and maintenance schedules, this role requires work outside of normal business hours (this role will be part of a 24×7 on-call rotation to support the infrastructure environment). You will need to have a high English level.
Functions:
– Act as a member of the Windows Active Directory support team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations, coordinate day-to-day operations, apply security patches and other updates or patches as released.
– Create and implement domain level security policies such as authentication mechanisms, password policies and rules, etc.
– Maintain the physical server hardware, virtual infrastructure platforms, and server OS level best practices.
– Work with stakeholders and other technical teams to collect business and technical requirements and ensure delivery of enterprise level solutions.
– Maintain standards for installation of infrastructure software and hardware installations. Ensure that improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely – monitoring all effects of the modifications
– Serve as a technical expert for Tier 1, 2 and 3 support groups
– Support IT goals and objectives including measures and projects.
– Work with Client Services to ensure that the compliant with OS/software licensing requirements
Requirements:
– Educated to Degree Level, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT, managing Active Directory
– Strong understanding of architecting, configuring and maintaining MS Windows Server OS technology including Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and Organizational Units
– Support of Linux server environments
– Backup and Recovery of multi-site server environments
– Azure AD integration
– MS System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administration
– Supporting VMWare and Hyper V virtualization platforms
– Implementing and supporting Anti-virus platforms
– Experience with Active Directory domain migration processes
– Familiarity with security best practices
– Familiarity with plant control systems and networks
– High English level
