Hays IT is collaborating with one of the world´s largest pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, they are better equipped than any other company to further drive personalised healthcare. Two-thirds of their Research and Development projects are being developed with companion diagnostics.
Currently, we are looking for Business Intelligence to join the team remotely.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, OLAP cubes, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle.
– Ensure architectural adherence through stewardship and governance to project teams. Serve as an expert resource on business intelligence to internal and external teams in all phases of dataware house and data mart development, implementation, and support.
– Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to translate business requirements to an appropriate data model, develop extract-transform-load processes, and validate results with business representatives and quality assurance.
– Provide necessary feedback regarding the data warehouse system capabilities and ensure specifications and requirements are met.
– Support implemented data warehouse solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance, and communicating functional and technical issues.
– Research and resolve issues as requested by internal and external clients.
– Properly communicate technical information to internal and external teams to ensure share and understanding.
– Research, define, and implement new methods to modify the system to improve workflows.
– Develop and update technical documentation.
– End to End System integration testing and documentation.
Required Skills:
– Knowledge on business intelligence data modeling design and development techniques.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Business Intelligence stack: SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services
– (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
– Deep experience in Kimball modeling technique.
– Knowledge on Theobald, KingswaySoft, Task Factory, GitLab.
– Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and communication styles.
– Strong problem solving skills.
– High level of English is mandatory.
