RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will have a unique opportunity to enter the world of Anti Content Sharing (ACS) operations, working in a very dynamic Service Delivery team devoted to monitoring the state of piracy for major Content Providers and Sports leagues, and taking actions to limit the effects of online piracy on our Customer’s contents.
MAIN TASKS:
• Monitor pirated content on various platforms like Playlists, Web and Set-top boxes
• Deliver piracy reports to internal stakeholders
• Analyze captured pirate streams and extract relevant information
• Research the accumulated monitoring data and look for trends and patterns to exploit
• Propose counter-measures for disrupting pirate streams
• Build monitoring processes with a focus on automation
• Interface with the R&D team to facilitate the integration of new software components or suggest improvements or new features
• Troubleshoot monitoring components in AWS
• Integrate new pirate devices (STBs, pre-loaded Kodi FireTV sticks, …) into the monitoring lab
• Perform reverse engineering on select pirate applications
• Collaborate with anti-piracy experts
• From time to time monitor the level of piracy on large popular Events, which could be at night or on a weekend
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Interest in cybersecurity and piracy/anti-piracy
• Comfortable working in a Linux/UNIX and Microsoft/Windows environment
• Experience or education in Internet and networking protocols: HTTP, TCP/IP
• Some knowledge of the main streaming technologies such as: HLS, Flash/RTMP, DASH, etc.
• Some familiarity with Amazon’s AWS platform and services
• Scripting knowledge in Perl or Python
• Good command of SQL queries in particular and Relational Databases in general
• Familiarity with Wireshark or other network monitoring tool
• Some Project Management experience
• Team player, capable of building strong relationships with peers
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented, dependable and organized
• Good communication skills
• High sense of ownership and commitment
