Requisitos
Required knowledge
· Minimum 3 years of experience required in developing business applications.
· Knowledge of PHP 7 and experience with any framework for the development of business applications.
· Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
· Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
· Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and associated technologies.
· Knowledge of REST web services and associated technologies.
· Strong knowledge of GNU/Linux and minimum 1 year experience administrating a production
environment.
· Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting.
· Knowledge of AWS EC2 or similar cloud hosting environments.
Required skills
· Ability to engage with business analysts and stakeholders, provide technological insight and guidance,
analyse business needs and design an appropriate solution.
· Effective UI/UX design.
· Self-taught, ability to provide creative solutions, resourcefulness.
Bonus knowledge and skills
· Administration of servers such as Apache, nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Sphinx.
· Knowledge of AWS EC2 APIs and automation.
· Knowledge of functional programming languages such as Lisp, Clojure, Haskell or Scala.
· Free Software development experience.
Required languages
· Spanish: B1 or better
· English: High level written and spoken (C1 or better desired; B2 is acceptable provided the recruit is deemed suitable for meetings during the interview).
Operating environment offices in Madrid; telework can be discussed later on.
Funciones / Responsabilidades
We are looking for a software engineer and full-stack web developer to join an agile development team in charge of the design, implementation, testing, roll-out and support of business applications based on a modern LAMP stack. Our offices are in Madrid; possibility of teleworking one day per week.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Software development
Design, development, testing and maintenance of individual modules of a web application in a LAMP environment, and web services integrations with other technologies.
Application support
Maintain and administrate the Linux-based production environments in AWS EC2, SQL databases and related services, and our development and deployment toolchain.
Customer support
Support employees and customers who use the application developed by the team.
Self development
Maintain and develop own knowledge of our company, its applications, development frameworks,techniques and policies, and related technologies for web application development such as HTML5 or JavaScript.
